EASY TO INSTALL

                        

For a qualified carpenter or handyman installing a Versalift usually takes about 6 hours and can take more if you are doing electrical, trim work, or attic decking.  The hardest part of the install is the framing part, but for most experienced carpenters or handymen, not so much.  The assembly of the lift with the nuts, bolts, and screws provided takes about 3 hours and as long as you follow the installation manual step by step, you should not have any issues with the operation.  We even have a video on our website sent to us by a lady that was over 75 yrs. and she assembled the lift and her husband and his buddy installed it in the attic and down in the garage.  We like to say, “if Roxie can do it, anyone can!”  But have to admit, she is a “can do” gal.  Our customers tell us that the Versalift installation manual is one of the most comprehensive How To guides they have ever used, and is very clear and well organized for the installation.  And anytime anyone has a question, we are available 5 days a week to help them out.

Our local installers have been doing construction for over 25 years and can handle all aspects of work including the installation of the lift, attic decking, attic ladders, attic modifications, attic ladder safety railings and more.  And after we cut out the opening and install the lift, we always trim out the bottom for a clean look that matches your pulldown attic ladder if one exists.  And the installation is affordable and insured for liability and workman’s comp.  Normally we are about a week behind in our schedule.
