VersaLift ships nationwide, and while we have relationships with installers in many metropolitan areas, it simply is not possible to maintain thousands of installers covering every city and small town in America.
The good news is that installing a VersaLift is well within the capabilities of thousands of experienced handymen, carpenters, remodeling contractors, and framing professionals.
In fact, if someone has installed pull-down attic ladders, framed attic openings, remodeled homes, built decks, or completed general carpentry projects, they already possess most of the skills needed to install a VersaLift.
The installation is not “magic.” It simply requires someone who can measure accurately, frame an opening correctly, follow written instructions, assemble mechanical components, and perform basic electrical work if required.

How Much Should Installation Cost?
Every project is different. For a typical installation, labor generally falls in the range below for what is usually a one-day project for two people.

Avoid paying the full amount before work begins. If someone demands half or full payment up front, that is a reason to slow down and keep looking
